Our Mission
The mission of Access Carroll is to improve pathways to primary health care for uninsured, low-income residents of Carroll County.
Our Philosophy
We believe every individual should have access to health care that is coordinated, comprehensive, culturally sensitive, community based, accountable and high quality. We also believe all individuals should have the right to health information, the opportunity to participate in their plan of care and the right to accept responsibility for their own care to the extent to which they are able.
Funding and Volunteers
Access Carroll is funded by grants and donations from individuals and local businesses and organizations. To meet the needs of our patients, we rely on a team of volunteers comprised of licensed medical professionals and a dedicated support staff. Several area medical specialists also treat Access Carroll patients in their offices.
