A Healthcare Home for the Uninsured of Carroll County
Founded in 2004, Access Carroll is an independent non-profit with a mission to provide comprehensive health services to an estimated 22,000 low income uninsured residents of Carroll County, Maryland. With the help of over 250 volunteers, Access Carroll has served over 4,200 individual patients and provided more than 39,000 office visits. Additionally, Access Carroll assists with the substantial need for medications, diagnostic studies, medical case management, specialty care, and health advocacy. Electronic Health Records will enable the organization to move forward as we continue to grow and serve the community as a Patient Centered Medical Home. Capital Renovation Project is Moving Forward
Access Carroll is pleased to announce the "Every Hand Counts" Capital Renovation Project is continuing to move forward in 2012 with a new location at 10 Distillery Drive, 2nd Floor, Westminster, MD 21157 We anticipate the construction process to begin in the coming months that will include family primary care and dental care services. The new location will also offer future expansion opportunities and integration of recovery services from the Carroll County Health Department. Access Carroll is extremely appreciative of the support and patience from our community during this process. We are still in need of raising $315,000 for equipment in the new facility and seek donations to meet this need as well as general operations. Donations are currently accepted at 2 Locust Lane, Suite 301, Westminster, MD 21157 or through PayPal via our website.
